 Classic physics refers to the branch of physics that deals with the laws of motion and mechanics, as developed by Sir Isaac Newton in the 17th century. This includes the study of how objects move and interact with each other, and the principles of energy, force, and motion. Classic physics also encompasses classical thermodynamics, electromagnetism, and optics.

On the other hand, modern physics refers to the developments in physics that occurred in the late 19th and early 20th century. This includes the study of quantum mechanics, special and general relativity, and particle physics. Modern physics seeks to explain the fundamental nature of matter and energy, as well as the nature of the universe itself.

One of the major differences between classic and modern physics is the scope of their study. While classic physics deals with the macroscopic world of everyday objects and phenomena, modern physics explores the subatomic and cosmic realms, where the classical laws of physics break down.

Another significant difference between classic and modern physics is their underlying assumptions. Classic physics is based on the principle of determinism, which states that the behavior of any physical system can be predicted with certainty, given sufficient knowledge of its initial conditions. In contrast, modern physics incorporates the concept of indeterminacy, which asserts that certain aspects of the physical world are inherently uncertain.

Finally, modern physics has led to a revolution in our understanding of the nature of space and time, with the introduction of concepts such as curved spacetime and the relativity of simultaneity. This has profound implications for our understanding of the universe, and has led to the development of new fields of study such as cosmology and black hole physics.
