Deepika Padukone born 5 January 1986 is an Indian film actress and model. She has established a successful career in Hindi language films of Bollywood, and is cited in the media as one of the most popular and attractive Indian celebrities. As a teenager she played baseball and badminton for state and national level championships, respectively. She subsequently eschewed a career in sports, and established a career as a model. She had enrolled for a Bachelor's degree in sociology, but dropped out due to scheduling conflicts with her modelling career. She subsequently made her acting debut as the titular character of the 2006 Kannada film Aishwarya.

Tanishq is a prominent jewellery brand of India. It pioneered the concept of branded jewellery and ornaments in India. It is a division of Titan Company Limited, a company promoted by the Tata Group, one of India's largest conglomerates.
