Difference between Android and iPhones

Smart Phones rule the technology world these days, as they are the most effective and handy connectivity devices with multiple functions to help tech savvy generation of today. But choosing an Android phone or an iPhone is not a simple task as both of them have a lot of great features and look so much similar that it becomes quite difficult to distinguish between the both. But with closer interaction and minute definition of the usability of these two services would show some key differences and these differences are furnished below.

Difference between the two OS platform:

User Interface:
The quality gap between Android and iPhone in terms of ease of use is quite big. Google has indeed worked hard to get their OS a viable option for those who wanted to ditch their iOS interface. IPhones though seem to have an easier and tighter interface, android offers parallel experience along with extreme customization and has an open operating system compared with iPhones.

Apps:
Though Google store tries to offer new and quality Apps from time to time, it has still not captured with the App store from Apple. But android can keep up with basic apps such as Facebook and twitter but falls behind in games. The iPhone is the best choice for gamers on the go and these are quicker to download and play as well.

Models:

There is not much choice with iPhone. User's most likely end up picking up the latest iteration when they choose to buy them, but with Androids there are numerous options to choose from. It is easy to find an Android phone that is perfect for one's needs and companies like Samsung have enhances the quality of the android platform and have enabled it to compete with industry leaders like iPhones.

Connectivity:
The App store from Apple, the iTunes seem to complicate even simple tasks such as adding a ringtone pretty difficult whereas the solution is pretty simple with Android OS with just drag and drop options. But Apple has a dedicated program to manage the content of the iTunes which is absent with the latter.

Hardware:
Apple is the only company that manufactures iPhones and offers a tight control over how hardware works with its software, but on the other hand, Google has offered its android software to many phone makes and as a result they vary in weight, features, and quality and user experience. While some android phones are of the best quality, some simply degrade the OS.

GPS navigation:
As long as there is connection with the internet, people never get lost for the built in GPS and the maps helps people to easily navigate the way. Both the platforms support these GPS apps and could give people turn by turn direction in a foreign land and are offered free. While the android could use Google maps navigation virtually anywhere, iPhone uses the iOS6 platform for easy directions absolutely free.
